I remember these coming out and I don't think you're not giving it to the kid so the kid is happy and contented, I think you're giving it to him so the whiney, complainy little brat wraps it round both ankles and snaps his neck falling over, as I imagine this toy was malicously designed to do.
Any toy based on the mexican bolas is bound to be a bad idea
BTW keep up with the webcomic - go look at some of the earliest archives of the webs most sucessful webcomics and you'll see art a heck of a lot worse than yours!

I found one of these today. I’m giving it to the next kid that complains about not getting a Nintendo Wii the day it came out.

Days 8, 9, and 10 were pretty good and an improvement. Not sure about this one, though.
